Attention Students:
Are you interested in and committed to the Western New York community?
Are you a sophomore or junior level undergraduate student in:
o School of Engineering and Applied Sciences;
o School of Management’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program;
o School of Medicine’s Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences or
o School of Medicine’s Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology
Are you a graduate or professional student in:
School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
School of Management’s MBA program
School of Medicine’s MS program in Biotechnology
Are you considering or preparing for a career that furthers the economic revitalization of the Western New York region?
The WNY Prosperity Scholarship is accepting applicants for the Academic Year of 2010-11. This 12-month scholarship program assists undergraduate students at the junior level and above as well as graduate/professional students in actively preparing for careers that further economic development and growth in the Western New York region. Applicants must have financial need as demonstrated by needs analysis through submission of a 2010-11 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form. US citizenship or permanent residence is required for this financial need calculation
Benefits of WNY Prosperity Scholars are:
• Financial Assistance;
• The chance to help industries, businesses, or organizations committed to job growth and sustainability of the WNY economy through a credit bearing paid Summer internship (internships must be procured by each individual student);
• An opportunity to network with others and develop a greater understanding of the WNY Economy, its needs and its potential for growth
