Work at Letchworth State Park this summer!

The Genesee Region of New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has two openings for Temporary/Summer employment. These positions are based at Letchworth State Park and are based in the Regional Engineering Department; two positions are pending for the Allegany Region at Allegany State Park. The positions are to support the water quality monitoring program for regionwide drinking water, SPDES outfalls and beach water quality. Additional opportunities in assisting on engineering projects will be available to candidates with appropriate backgrounds in AutoCAD and engineering coursework.

The positions are classified as a Park and Recreation Aide 5 and pay is $11.34/Hour, for a 40-Hour workweek, which will include weekend and holidays. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Positions are for employment from approximately May 15th to September 6th.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of college level course completion in water resources or engineering.
